Overview
The Online Order Specialist reviews, processes, and fulfills customer orders from an online order platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key responsibilities include verifying order details and payment, assessing inventory levels, handling customer inquiries, processing orders and updating order statuses, coordinating with shipping team, and resolving discrepancies to maintain customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office and online order tools are essential for success in this fast-paced role.
Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Create online order forms in REDCap (online order platform) and review and respond to incoming orders.
- Order Fulfillment: Monitor inventory levels and accurately pick orders and ring sales in Counterpoint (point of sale register system).
- Shipping & Logistics: Prepare shipments, label packages and project spreadsheets; coordinate with Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to meet delivery timelines.
- Data Management: Update order statuses in online order platform (REDCap).
- Customer Service: Manage Gift Shop email inbox and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, resolve issues, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Assist with Gift Shop functions as needed, including ringing sales and stocking merchandise.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience or HS Diploma or Equivalent and 5-7 years experience
- Preferred project management and retail experience

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.23/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
