Overview

Part Time Warehouse Material Handler in Euclid, Ohio. Ryder is immediately hiring. Pay: $19.67 per hour with $1.00 per hour additional when working 2nd shift. Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 1:30am-9:00am (28 hours weekly).

Warehouse positions pay weekly. On the job paid training. Safety gear provided. State of the art equipment and caring leadership. Products being handled: consumer goods. Equipment: electric pallet jacks, RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment and maintain professional relationships
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision; high initiative
• Demonstrates accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Available to work flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
