Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Truck Driver located in Asheville, NC. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to haul and deliver asphalt and aggregate materials. Day-to-day tasks include driving to various job sites, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The driver will need to perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck and communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL Class A license
• Experience in Truck Driving and Unloading materials
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations
• Strong understanding of truck operations and maintenance
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of safety
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in transportation or logistics is a plus
• Previous experience in hauling asphalt and aggregate materials is preferred
