Position Title:

ARMED Emergency Services Officer

Pay Rate:

$26.00 per hour

Job Description:

As an Armed Emergency Services Officer (Security Guard) - ESO at Armorous, you respond to urgent staffing needs across various client sites. This on-call position provides broad experience across different environments while supporting businesses, residential communities, and special assignments. It’s also a stepping stone toward securing a permanent position within the Armorous team.

Your role requires flexibility, good judgment, and strong communication skills to respond effectively to different situations with professionalism and confidence.

Shifts:

On-call based on your availability. Opportunities across all shifts (day, swing, and graveyard). Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly respond to emergency coverage needs at client sites.
• Safeguard properties and deter criminal activity.
• Ensure the safety and security of businesses, residential communities, and other client locations.
• Maintain a professional and commanding presence.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and Armorous leadership about site updates and incidents.
• Complete detailed reports on security activities and incidents.
• Adapt to a variety of site post orders and environments.

Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card & Firearm Permits (required)
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
• Current BSIS certifications (First Aid/CPR preferred)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and proactive in high-pressure situations
