Rummel Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated and bilingual Human Resources Admin to join our HR team in a part-time, limited-hours capacity. This internship provides hands-on experience in human resources within the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will play an essential role in supporting onboarding, training, and communication with our Spanish-speaking employee-owners.
The HR Admin will work closely with our HR Generalist and full-time HR Administrator, assisting with onboarding sessions, employee communication, and various HR projects and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring effective communication for Spanish-speaking employee-owners.
- Provide translation and interpretation support during training and HR-related meetings.
- Support HR staff with day-to-day operations, including employee communications, data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with the preparation of training materials and HR documentation.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the HR Generalist or HR Administrator.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
- Candidates should hold, or be actively pursuing, a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) is required.
- Available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays (with flexible additional hours).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
