Through Hope Builders’ staffing agency, graduates are placed in roles that lead to temp-to-hire and direct-hire opportunities with employers looking to build a skilled, dedicated workforce. The Opportunity

This hands-on, strategic role will partner closely with leadership and is ideal for an HR Manager who enjoys varied responsibilities and thrives on making an impact. This key position is essential to our success by:

  • Leading HR & Culture: Managing the full employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Driving Operations: Mentoring a two-person team to oversee vendor management, facility maintenance, and IT systems.
  • Optimizing for Mission: Streamlining organizational processes to foster a positive environment and advance our strategic goals.

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of HR experience as a generalist working at a company or nonprofit organization with 75 or more employees.
  • Strong understanding of CA labor laws and the capacity to manage compliance.
  • Supervisory or management experience required, project management experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; intermediate level proficiency of MS Word and Excel.
