Job Overview

The Market Barista will provide service in the grab-and-go cafe located on the hotel property. This position is responsible for fulfilling guest orders, preparing beverages in accordance with menu standards, and maintaining a welcoming and clean environment for guests. They are responsible for ordering, restocking, room delivery of orders, and preparing food & beverages orders at The Market. The Barista will utilize the POS system to capture orders and process payments. Special tasks/deliveries may be assigned, as necessary, by the supervisor or manager.

Wage Information

The salary for this position is $20.90 plus applicable tips.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
