JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: CRNA Anesthesiology Job Type: Locum Tenens (Full-Time or Part-Time) Location: Carlisle, PA Service Setting: Hospital UPMC Carlisle Regional Medical Center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 1, 2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 7a 3p (5x8s per week; minimum 8 shifts per month, Mondays and Fridays required) COVERAGE DATES Oct 1, 2025 Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 90% Adults, 10% Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: Approx. 25 cases per day Phone Consults: No Case Mix: 95% Surgical, 5% Other; bread and butter cases, outpatient surgery, ICU intubations, medically directed C-sections FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 165 EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment Specialty Backup Available: Full physician supervision (100% medically directed) Support Staff Available: RNs, anesthesia team Reason for Coverage: Turnover vacancy PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: No (full privileges required) Credentialing Timeline: 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered Rate: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Spinals Airway management Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) General Anesthesia (GA) C-sections (medically directed) ICU intubations JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required Board: Board Certified CRNA DEA: Not required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS Experience: Obstetrics experience required (C-sections and spinals) Other Qualifications: Will also consider providers already credentialed at other UPMC sites DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia coverage across main OR, surgery center, and L&D (approx. 80% OR, 15% surgery, 5% L&D) Perform spinals, intubations, MAC, GA, and other anesthesia procedures Support elective surgical schedule and assist with overflow and emergent proce
