Psychiatry - Addiction Physician

Job Details:

• Position Type: Part-time (20 hours) to full-time (40 hours) role
• Location: Tampa, Florida

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including history, diagnosis, and treatment
• Manage follow-up medication regimens
• Collaborate with family members and others involved in the client s care
• Assist in developing and organizing clinical treatment plans

Job Requirements:

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited university program
• Completion of a psychiatry residency training program and 2 years of post-residency experience
• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
• DEA registration
• Ability to skillfully diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders
• Willingness to participate in agency s Quality Improvement Program and attend required trainings
• Familiarity with NAPPI (crisis intervention) training (if required by contract or administrative rule)

Preferred Attributes:

• Training or certification in addiction medicine
• Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
