Job Details:
- Position Type: Part-time (20 hours) to full-time (40 hours) role
- Location: Tampa, Florida
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including history, diagnosis, and treatment
- Manage follow-up medication regimens
- Collaborate with family members and others involved in the client s care
- Assist in developing and organizing clinical treatment plans
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited university program
- Completion of a psychiatry residency training program and 2 years of post-residency experience
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
- DEA registration
- Ability to skillfully diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders
- Willingness to participate in agency s Quality Improvement Program and attend required trainings
- Familiarity with NAPPI (crisis intervention) training (if required by contract or administrative rule)
- Training or certification in addiction medicine
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
