Patient-Focused Care

Our Patient-Focused Care initiative employs a dual approach to address both the medical and behavioral aspects of opioid dependence. This Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) utilizes Methadone or Buprenorphine (also known as Suboxone) to manage a patient s physical reliance on Opioids, complemented by collaborative Behavioral Counseling to address psychological dependence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine. The ideal candidate is a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and will be a valuable addition to our team.
Location
Drivable Distance to Atlanta, Georgia - Specific Site Details will be given upon screening interested candidates.

Key Responsibilities of the Program Director include:

  • Optimizing clinical and financial outcomes
  • Overseeing the daily operations of an opiate treatment program
  • Ensuring operational effectiveness
  • Addressing urgent and emergent issues related to the treatment center outside of regular office hours
  • Managing treatment center revenue collection to meet target rates and controlling expenditures within budgeted allocations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A history of exceeding client/team expectations
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
  • Superior decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • A commitment to maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meticulousness
  • Proficiency in problem analysis and evaluation
  • Effective time management skills
  • ABAM Certification or Eligibility

Essential Requirements

  • Must hold a license to practice medicine or osteopathy in Michigan.
  • Three years of documented experience in providing services to individuals with alcohol or other drug addictions, with one year of experience in opioid treatment.
  • Board Eligibility in psychiatry and two years of documented experience in treating individuals with alcohol or other drug addictions.
  • ASAM or Board Certification as an addiction medicine specialist.
