JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and ensuring consistent high-quality clinical care for participants across all settings. The Director of Clinical Services role focuses on delivering participant-centered care in alignment with PACE policies, regulatory standards, and best practices for elder care. As a key member of the PACE program leadership team, this position contributes to policy development, census growth, staff training, and achieving outstanding participant outcomes and satisfaction.

Director of Clinical Services- Evansville/ Owensboro
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and ensuring consistent high-quality clinical care for participants across all settings. The Director of Clinical Services role focuses on delivering participant-centered care in alignment with PACE policies, regulatory standards, and best practices for elder care. As a key member of the PACE program leadership team, this position contributes to policy development, census growth, staff training, and achieving outstanding participant outcomes and satisfaction.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrate organizational values, mission, and vision into program culture, policies, and daily operations.
- Oversee consistent high-quality clinical care for participants across multiple counties.
- Monitor participant experience and outcome data, guiding Care Teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with HR and management for staff recruitment, training, and performance oversight.
- Ensure timely and accurate participant assessments and care plans by interdisciplinary teams.
- Establish and oversee an effective 24/7 on-call process with Medical Director.
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain efficient, high-quality services.
- Ensure clinical staff actively engage in team meetings and care planning.
- Develop and monitor budgets, key performance indicators, and financial reports for resource utilization.
- Participate in Quality Improvement programs, track data, and lead improvement initiatives.
- Ensure clinical compliance with federal, state, and PACE requirements.
- Develop job descriptions and assign duties aligned with competencies.
- Assist in development of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure policy compliance in line with PACE standards in collaboration with leadership.
- Engage with PACE associations and committees to stay updated on regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Operations Director, and program management teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and effective service delivery under the direction of the Executive Director.
- Participate in family and staff meetings, in-service training, and departmental activities as needed.
- Works in collaboration with Clinic Practice Manager to effectively maintain and manage clinic operations.
- Follow all PACE policies, OSHA safety guidelines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Lead infection control efforts to ensure best practices in all settings.
- Attend continuing education and training as required.
- Maintain required certifications and professional affiliations.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- State RN license with leadership skills and experience in healthcare delivery and management. Strong desire to work with the elderly in an innovative, highly interactive, interdisciplinary environment.
- Compact License Required (KY/IN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required. Master's degree in management or a healthcare related field preferred. Professional Certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-years' experience working with the frail and elderly in acute, long-term care or community based setting.
- 3 years progressive management experience required.
- Experience in home care, managed care, or long-term care preferred.
- All Employees - Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
- Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.
