Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Join a collaborative and experienced NICU team across multiple healthcare locations in the vibrant Kansas City, Missouri metro area. This facility includes a 49-bed, Level-IIIB NICU, a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU, and Level-II NICU, offering advanced neonatal care within a supportive and dynamic working environment. The practice is recognized for its commitment to family-centered care and innovative programs, including the March of Dimes NICU Family Support program and Angel Eye technology for loved ones to connect with their babies in the NICU.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care in Level-IIIB NICU and other facilities.
  • Involve actively in quality improvement initiatives and education within the practice.
  • Participate in the transition program for new graduates to develop into proficient practitioners.
  • Utilize advanced ventilator support techniques for neonatal patients.
  • Engage with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient and family experiences.
  • Take part in clinical leadership opportunities as available.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of a Master s Degree in nursing.
  • Active Missouri APRN License or willing to obtain.
  • Commitment to family-centered care and patient advocacy.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) - Required.
  • DEA Certification must be obtained prior to employment.
  • CSR/CDS Certification must also be obtained prior to employment.
  • Visa support may be required for international candidates.
