Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Las Vegas, NV

Join a leading pediatric healthcare facility in Las Vegas known for its comprehensive care and high-acuity Level III NICU. With 24/7 collaborative support and access to advanced neonatal interventions, this position offers an excellent environment for professional growth and impactful work.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of 13 neonatologists and 12 advanced practice providers (NNPs/PAs).
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a 72-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 60.
  • Manage complex neonatal cases, including extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants.
  • Utilize advanced technologies, including:
    • Neonatal ECMO
    • Jet and oscillatory high-frequency ventilation
    • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
    • Whole-body cooling for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE)
  • Participate in specialized neonatal resuscitation and transport teams.
  • Collaborate with a variety of pediatric subspecialists, including cardiovascular surgery.
  • Integrate care within a comprehensive pediatric ecosystem including PICU, CVICU, and pediatric ER.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, innovative care model focused on patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) Required
  • Master s degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Current Nevada APRN license or willingness to obtain Required
  • Clean malpractice/license history Highly preferred
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained before starting Required
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification (NNP-BC).
  • Certification and licensure as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
