Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced wound care to patients in both individual residences and long-term care facilities (approximately 90 percent LTC)
- Utilize UltraMist Wands and perform skin grafts, including fish skin, placenta, and lab-grown grafts
- Deliver direct hands-on wound care to a diverse patient population
- Document patient encounters using the WoundExpert EMR system
- Collaborate with surgical PAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Travel between assigned sites to deliver wound care services as needed
Additional Information
- Must have current Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota
- Hands-on wound care experience is required
- Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required
- Candidates with advanced wound care experience will be fast tracked
- Experience with UltraMist Wands and various types of skin grafts is strongly preferred
