**This is a time-limited (NS-14) position with the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services** The Data Analyst III is a senior-level professional role responsible for shaping and maintaining the organization's data management architecture. This position involves the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex data management systems to ensure security, integrity, and efficiency of organizational data. Serving as a mentor and leader, the Data Analyst III may supervise or guide lower-level staff, fostering growth and ensuring adherence to best practices. This role requires advanced proficiency in running complex analytics tools, a forward-looking approach to data governance, and the ability to translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions. What you'll need to be Successful:
Strong expertise in data modeling, database architecture, and analytics tools is essential, along with the ability to solve complex problems and ensure data security and accuracy. Success also requires clear communication, leadership skills to mentor or guide staff, and the adaptability to stay ahead of emerging technologies and evolving data needs. Preferred Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-8+ years of IT experience with emphasis in data management. Agency preferred qualifications: a bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, along with five or more years of experience in data management and analytics.
