Summary:
Executes all duties as assigned for all window and bank transactions within the cage. Ability to operate a front window, employee window or the main bank. Maintains knowledge of Title 31, Tribal Internal Controls and departmental policy and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities Sr. Cage:
Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times. Maintains responsibility for the operation of a front window, employee window, or main bank, fulfilling all duties of any of these positions. Maintains proper accounting of designated funds, ensuring all transactions are performed promptly and efficiently while maintaining exceptional guest service. Provides training for newly hired or promoted cashiers. Accurately completes all required forms, logs, and reports for transactions. Maintain responsibility for sensitive keys during shift. Maintains accurate bank count. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, Gaming Commission regulations, and Tribal Internal Controls. Assists in the training and/or re-training of new hires and employees Assist supervisors as needed and directed Maintains excellent grooming and personal conduct according to FSRC standards and Cash Operations department. Accurately Issue, redeem, consummate and transfer marker activity Maintain confidentiality at all times Duties and Responsibilities Cage Shift Supervisor:
Coordinates all functions and recommends proper staffing levels for the Cage and Vault areas for the shift. Accountable for all operating activities within areas of the Cash Cage and Vault areas. Issues and Receives cage/pit markers as well as effectively and accurately balance the marker bank. Sets up credit and check cashing accounts for guest and casino host. Maintains accurate credit files Investigates overages and shortages, assists with purchasing of hard count and soft count drops. Directs the operation of the cage facility to be in accordance with established policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SARC as needed. Issue, redeem, consummate and transfer Marker activity as required in a timely manner Must be detailed oriented, self motivated, positive work ethics and demonstrate initiative on a daily basis. This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
Requirements
Education /Experience:
Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED/equivalent required. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Casino Cage operations and supervision required. Minimum of 2 years bank teller/casino cage experience required.
