Job Summary
We are seeking a Regression QA Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance efforts for our product releases. This role requires a strong background in programming, UI automation, and API automation, with a focus on ensuring seamless and bug-free releases through comprehensive regression testing strategies. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Release regression testing cycle across multiple platforms and environments. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing using tools like Cypress, Postman, UI Path or similar. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases. Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and drive resolution in a timely manner. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for regression testing. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing. Monitor and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation and quality assurance. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in QA with at least 5 years in a lead role. Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). Proficiency in API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools. Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS). Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). ISTQB or other QA certifications. Nice to Have
Troubleshooting API failures in Mobile App. Hands-on Experience in UI path, Amazon Q, Co-Pilot. Hands-on experience with Emulators/Simulators. Experience with AWS Services. Job Details
