Overview
Frontend Developer – Platform Engineering We are seeking a skilled
Frontend Developer
to join our Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend technologies and will play a key role in designing and developing customer-facing products and internal platform applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to impactful projects, and drive the adoption of best practices in frontend development. Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, test, and deploy frontend applications and component libraries.
Build responsive, scalable UI components using Tailwind CSS and SCSS/SASS.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability of frontend applications.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services.
Instrument applications to measure performance and troubleshoot issues.
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following modern best practices.
Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver high-quality software iteratively.
Partner with SDETs and QEs to ensure application quality, contributing to test automation efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development within a technical environment.
Strong expertise in
React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML, CSS , and
Storybook .
Experience with
Node.js
and RESTful API integration.
Understanding of
UI/UX principles
and responsive design.
Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD).
Practical experience with Git and GitHub Actions workflows for deployment automation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with AWS services (CloudFront, S3, etc.).
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and micro-frontend (MFE) architecture.
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).
Knowledge of security and access management (token-based authentication, RBAC).
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Argo Workflows for deployments and workflow management.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
Experience maintaining common libraries and contributing to open-source projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
