Contribute to Advancing Groundbreaking New Cybersecurity Automation Tools: Design, develop, and demonstrate web-based, AI/ML-driven automation solutions on an Agile Scrum software development team with work from home/office flexibility. Collaborate With Stakeholders: Join the team in design sessions and software demonstrations with industry partners and customers. Influence Architectural Decisions: Actively participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions, influencing direction and ensuring the implementation of long-lasting solutions leveraging the latest industry standards and conventions. Stay at the Forefront of Technology: Continuously explore emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development and DevOps, applying that knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve development processes. Apply skills, ingenuity, and energy in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Participate in sprint ceremonies including reviews, demos, & planning; backlog grooming, story estimation and team retros also included. WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack (frontend and backend) web developer - having made significant contribution to a published JavaScript and/or ASP.NET web capability.
At least 3 years of recent experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines (YAML), building and testing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues.
At least 3 years of recent experience developing React web frontends with an ASP.NET (Web API 2 / REST) and MongoDB backend.
Proficient in using the Ubuntu Linux Bash shell to navigate and troubleshoot container issues.
A strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices - especially those involving web and DevOps.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including DoD personnel.
Experience working on Agile Scrum teams using related project management tools (e.g., Jira).
A proven track record of successfully implementing complex software solutions and meeting deadlines.
Eligibility and willingness to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Well versed in and able to communicate user-centered design principles.
Experience using Cypress to develop UI component and end-to-end integration (API) tests
Experience integrating AI/ML-based solutions into a web-based platform.
Experience working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to manage web servers and routing.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $93,583 - $134,760 APPLICATION DEADLINE:
