Position Summary
Golden State Peterbilt, an authorized heavy truck dealership, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Warranty Administrator
to join our service team. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking warranty claims to manufacturers and vendors. This role ensures timely and accurate processing while maximizing warranty reimbursement. Experience with PACCAR warranty systems is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Process, submit, and track manufacturer and vendor warranty claims in compliance with OEM guidelines.
Review repair orders for proper documentation, accuracy, and eligibility.
Maintain warranty files and records for audits and compliance purposes.
Communicate with technicians, service advisors, and managers to resolve claim issues.
Monitor claim status, follow up on unpaid claims, and appeal denied claims as necessary.
Coordinate with the Service Manager and Accounting Department regarding warranty credits and schedules.
Stay current on warranty policies, bulletins, and manufacturer updates (PACCAR and others).
Train and assist service staff with warranty procedures as needed.
Qualifications
Prior warranty administration experience in the automotive or heavy truck industry preferred.
PACCAR warranty experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of OEM warranty policies, procedures, and claim systems.
Strong computer skills (DMS, OEM portals, Microsoft Office).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
