We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven project manager who will work closely with the AI & BI team and various business functional groups for the development and/or implementation of IT projects and proofs of concepts for new systems and enhancements to existing IT platforms for Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and reporting, all utilizing the Palantir Foundry platform. The candidate will build relationships with key business users and develop functional and technical documentation utilizing standard industry analysis tools and techniques. The candidate will manage projects utilizing Kinder Morgan’s project management methodology. In this role, the project manager will: Manage the successful implementation of fast-paced proof of concepts, IT software development and Analytics/AI projects. Coordinate monthly steering committee meetings with key executive stakeholders to report on project status. Work with key stakeholders to drive projects to completion on time and on budget. Gather business requirements and coordinate with IT leads to translate formal functional documentation. Facilitate functional and technical requirements gathering sessions and workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Document as-is and to-be business processes and business requirements associated with those processes. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders on the business side, within IT, and with vendors. Coordinate with technical leads to analyze and document technical capabilities and requirements for new and existing systems. Create and/or publish project deliverables in line with Kinder Morgan project management methodology. Develop and maintain project plans in MS Project Online. Position Requirements
5+ years of technical project management experience implementing custom development and commercial off-the-shelf software using standard tools and techniques. Experience in Agile / Waterfall project management methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication, and facilitation skills. Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and ability to meet multiple challenges and opportunities. Ability to create project artifacts such as current-state/future-state process diagrams, business requirements documents, project plans, etc. using Microsoft Office tools. Proven ability to collaborate and facilitate with business stakeholders to identify and document complex business processes and requirements. Demonstrated technical aptitude to learn new concepts and technologies quickly with minimal direction. Ability to understand technical architecture of systems being implemented. Proven ability to collaborate with IT stakeholders to document high-level technical design of systems and solutions. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software development languages and tools. Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management. Bachelor's degree in a technology or communications-related field is required.
