Architect - Data Center Facilities Design - Dallas, TX Our client is a growing architecture and design firm in the A/E/C industry with a data center practice focused on reliability, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Services include data center, mission critical facilities, for enterprise customers, the Colo market, and hyperscale companies. This opportunity offers career growth, visibility with leading-edge technology, and competitive salaries and benefits. Opportunity will begin as hybrid: four days on site and one day off site. This schedule can potentially change as you grow with the company, eventually offering more flexibility with working from home. As a data center production architect, you will be responsible for data center design planning, design development and documentation, and coordination with all project team members. You will maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large, complex data center projects and lead cross-functional design disciplines in coordination with the MEP design engineering team and project managers. Responsibilities Demonstrated experience with input on design planning and development of construction drawings for data center facilities Progress technical design drawing packages Focus on architectural layout of the building and infrastructure, including power, cooling, ventilation, redundancy, and security Understand all aspects from schematic design through project close-out Develop drawings from reference documents and/or detailed design criteria Adhere to practice standards in designs Provide construction administration services as needed Track RFIs and submittals for multiple disciplines Review submittals for conformance with drawings and specifications Produce meeting minutes for project meetings Coordinate with other disciplines Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and Principals in conceptual development of project documents Work in a team environment with internal and external customers/partners Willing to work on aggressive deadlines when needed Qualifications Registered Architect (RA) or on the path to licensure Two to five or more years of experience as a Project Architect Experience with Critical Facilities / Data Center projects preferred Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Design Proficient in REVIT (advanced skills a plus) 3D/BIM modeling and CAD software experience a plus Strong technical proficiency in production of drawings Ability to visit client facilities throughout the DFW area Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks Active involvement in the AIA is a plus Submittal Instructions Please apply directly by clicking the link below, or forward your resume to: 8ye5g1m5qnurwjr186ihtpzrth@crelate.net For questions after applying, you may call 973-895-5200 and ask for Iggy.
