Senior Architect
| Hospitality Interior Design | Dallas, CA This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative Senior Architect to join a talented, award-winning, and gold key finalists design team creating luxurious hospitality projects. Join a company with a casual, innovative, collaborative, and respectful culture designing hotel to restaurant projects. The Senior Architect of Hospitality Design is responsible for working with the Senior Designer and the Project Manager in the design detailing and documentation of a project. The Senior Architect works on all phases of design with an emphasis in the Design Development and Construction Document phases. This individual will lead project management, detailing, drawing set production, computer modeling and renderings as well as production management. This opportunity allows you to be a key component in the design process through all design phases, leading from concept to construction administration, working on luxurious hospitality projects from restaurant to hotel projects. Responsibilities
Project manage multiple projects concurrently from concept through construction administration phases. Independently draft and assemble construction documents in a timely and efficient manner. Review CDs to ensure compliance with the firm’s standards, mechanical, building systems, codes and ADA requirements. Coordinate consultant’s work to ensure compliance with design solutions and timely submissions of documents. Interact effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow and successful project delivery. Create and contribute to project design and development. Respond to RFIs and submittals and coordinate as needed in the Construction phase. Oversee tasks and provide feedback on work product. Coordinate with clients on a day-to-day basis. Support multiple projects concurrently. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university 7+ years of extensive experience in all phases of architectural design, including substantial experience in planning and interior design of complex projects Substantial experience with applications of engineering technology, interior design materials and construction methods Experience with high-end restaurant and hospitality projects; residential is a plus Excellent drafting and detailing skills; Photoshop, 3D, InDesign, AutoCAD and Revit proficiency Architectural license or NCIDQ, CCIDC, NCARB, ASID or comparable in-process desirable but not required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within project deadlines and budgets Ability to be flexible and multi-task Strong interaction with clients, team members and outside vendors Demonstrated ability mentoring junior staff and providing feedback on project tasks Ability to travel to domestic and international client and project sites Compensation and Benefits
