Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and cleared
Network Engineers / Network Security Engineers
to design, implement, secure, and optimize mission-critical network infrastructure. This role involves supporting secure, high-performance WAN and LAN environments while coordinating across engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable mission operations with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
Operate, manage, monitor, and deploy network security devices and systems.
Configure and maintain advanced security devices, including:
Application, proxy, and packet-based firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, SonicWall).
VPN, IPSEC, SSL, and SSH applications.
Cisco Secure ACS, Security Manager (CSM), VPN, and firewall solutions.
Web Proxy, Load balancers, and other LAN/WAN security technologies.
Design and deploy solutions integrating multiple network devices, interfaces, and methodologies.
Optimize end-to-end system performance, throughput, and latency.
Configure networks connecting front-end and back-end systems for mission operations.
Coordinate with system engineering and dataflow teams to maintain mission continuity.
Facilitate the implementation of scalable, high-speed, fault-tolerant network topologies.
Support server requirements with network solutions (load balancing, firewall contexts, NAT, VPNs).
Perform performance monitoring using network analysis and simulation tools.
Lead large-scale efforts with dynamic mission requirements.
Resolve complex network issues using WAN test equipment, analyzers, and simulators.
Collaborate across teams to define requirements and ensure mission alignment.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
12 years of relevant experience in similar scope, type, and complexity.
Note:
An additional 4 years of network engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
Certifications:
Security required.
Technical Experience:
5 years with
Network Tools : WhatsUp Gold, NetFlow.
5 years with
SIGINT Tools : Common View/Max View, Triton, TUMMS.
Advanced hands-on experience with enterprise network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of fault-tolerant WAN/LAN design.
Expertise in dataflow management and performance tuning.
Experience coordinating across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Ability to lead mission-critical efforts under tight deadlines.
