Educational Recommendations Currently a candidate for a PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at an accredited school in the USA.

Qualifications

Solid background in Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing, and Operating Systems

Proficient in assembly language x86 or ARM, C++, Matlab or Python, Shell scripting

Experience with experiment design, data processing, and analysis

Nice to have

Some relevant industry experience and/or peer-reviewed publications

Experience with gem5 simulator

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will: Analyze, identify, and assess performance issues running large server code on “little” CPUs in a multi-core SoC

Identify techniques for software optimization and build prototypes to prove the idea

Execute computer experiments to test the performance and process the results
