Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Dental Officer to join their Community Dental Service in Whitby and Scarborough.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality dental care and have experience working with adults and children with additional dental needs.
Job Overview
The Community Dental Service provides specialized dental treatment for children, adults, and older people with additional needs, such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or vulnerability, who cannot access general dental care. The successful applicant will be responsible for the clinical treatment of pediatric and adult patients, including those with special needs, and will have experience in providing dental care to children and adults, including the use of Relative Analgesia and General Anaesthesia. Responsibilities
Providing efficient and responsive clinical treatment under local anaesthetic, conscious sedation, and general anaesthesia, and preventative care for patients within the HDFT CDS locality. Providing advice and emergency care to all groups of patients seen within the community dental service. Providing continuing care to patients with special needs who are unable to be treated within the general dental service. Requirements
Fully registered with the GDC. Experience working with GA, teaching, and supervising trainees. Experience working within a Community Dental Service. What We Offer
