Contract position in Ashburn, VA. Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java EE development Excellent core Java skills including collections, algorithms, multithreading, OOP and design patterns Knowledge of ETL tools like ODI, Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, Pervasive, SSIS, etc. Good knowledge of Relational Databases, JDBC, ODBC, SQL technologies Experience with J2EE frameworks (JSP, Servlet, EJB, JMS, JSF, JMX) Experience with components in Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Impala, Ambari, Oozie, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Mahout) Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra and HBase Understanding of parsing, querying and transforming XML, HTML, and JSON files Experience in creating and interfacing with SOAP/WSDL/XML/REST web services Experience in building or supporting web applications with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML and AJAX Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC) Experience with Scrum, test-driven development and Continuous Integration environments Experience with Linux operating system and shell scripting Quick learner in adapting to new technologies and standards Strong verbal and written communication skills
