to join our team supporting the DARC program. This position is based in

Colorado Springs, CO

(preferred), but can also be located in

Baltimore, MD ,

Bellevue, NE , or

Azusa, CA . Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. Salary information displayed is based on Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities

Perform as a member of an interdisciplinary team on efforts to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems, contributing to Radar Performance Algorithms, System Concept of Operations (CONOPs) Development, System Mission and Mode Development, Kinematic Trajectory Threat Analysis, Modeling and Simulation of Mission Scenarios, Technology Trade Studies, Requirements Development and Derivation for Radar System Operational Performance, Performance Analysis, Data Analysis, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Support development and integration of radar algorithms to meet system mission and mode performance objectives. Requirements development, analysis, and implementation planning for translating system requirements into algorithm design. Perform functional and performance analyses; develop mathematical algorithms for mode/sensor implementation. Develop software integration planning for system algorithms to model behavior of real-time radar platforms. Solicit input from various stakeholders, synthesize data, and communicate results to leadership within the organization. Conduct mission engineering activities to ensure continuity between desired operational capabilities and delivered system performance, trade capabilities against cost and mission requirements, and assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging systems and capabilities in representative environments. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience; or Master’s with 6 years; or Ph.D. with 4 years. Staff Systems Engineer – Bachelor’s with 12 years; or Master with 10 years; or Ph.D. with 8 years. Active Secret clearance at time of application; MATLAB and code prototyping; experience through the Systems Engineering lifecycle; experience with signals processing and radar systems. Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence), SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); strong problem-solving and independent planning abilities; cross-functional teamwork with a customer focus. Preferred Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance at the time of application with SCI eligibility; experience with Python, C/C++, Java or related languages; experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum); experience with requirement derivation and decomposition for system design implementation and planning. Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00; Secondary Level Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $233,200.00. The above ranges are general guidelines; base salary offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives.
