An Amazing Career Opportunity for an AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer —Location: Salt Lake City, Utah • Job ID: 41229 As an AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS and in on-premise data centers in support of our Public Key Infrastructure as a Service (PKIaaS) platform. You will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and highly available applications. This role requires proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native tools, and modern DevOps practices. Experience with cloud computing in AWS is essential. Who are we? Responsibilities

Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, VPC, RDS, ECS, Lambda, and S3 using Terraform Building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation Monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Implementing and maintaining containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms like Amazon ECS/EKS, Rancher, or Kubernetes Assisting in maintaining security best practices, including IAM policies, secrets management, and audit logging Collaborating with developers to optimize application performance and deploy software consistently across environments Participating in on-call rotations and troubleshooting issues in production environments Contributing to disaster recovery planning, backups, and failover procedures Writing clear documentation for infrastructure, deployment workflows, and troubleshooting processes Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may be considered 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles 4+ years of experience with AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and RDS AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Solutions Architect or greater certification preferred Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and sprint-based deployments Proficiency in scripting languages such as TypeScript, Node, Python, Bash, or Go Strong experience with CI/CD tools and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling) Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or CDK for infrastructure provisioning Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration platforms (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes) Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and DNS in cloud environments Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in production environments Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to document processes and train other engineers Experience working with PKI, TLS/SSL, or related technologies is a plus What we can offer you
