As the Manager of IT Applications- Epic Orders at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for leading the development, testing, configuration, optimization, and implementation services of solutions specific to areas of responsibility. You will manage the full life cycle from strategic planning, development, and maintenance to launch of solutions and platforms. You will identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, contribute to organizational growth, promote patient and user experience, and create innovative solutions with operations. You will develop and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders to align technology solutions with system goals. You will promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms and stay updated on latest solutions and industry best practices. This role will manage our Epic Inpatient Orders and Bugsy applications teams, including associated third-party applications, and collaborate with Inpatient Providers, Nursing and Clinical Ancillary teams. What you will do

Lead the team responsible for development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of Information Management and Technology (IMT) Application Service Level Agreements. Drive end-to-end activities for the assigned solutions portfolio and lead teams to achieve high performance outcomes. Provide support and guidance for solution implementation, including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimization, and support. Establish relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic and user needs; translate into business requirements and specifications for operational ease. Lead or participate in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders on priority and workload. Develop strong partnerships with other leaders to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with vendors to ensure systems meet Endeavor Health needs. Contribute to activities such as capital and operating budgets, policy and procedure development, governance, talent management, and other duties as assigned. Stay current on technologies and promote relevant implementations; participate in industry organizations as appropriate (e.g., HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM/XGM, VMware World). Collaborate across functional components led by other leaders to ensure seamless overlaps and measurable outcomes. Manage service delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets. Identify opportunities for process and performance improvement and develop recommendations. Independently develop recommendations and resolve complex HR, technical, or communication issues. Participate in and lead contract negotiations. Monitor and adjust implemented solutions for optimal performance and alignment with customer workflows. Establish and enforce data governance and security policies to maintain data quality and confidentiality. What you will need

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Master's degree preferred). Experience : Three (3) or more years managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or related industries. Two (2) or more years of leadership experience. Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience supporting Inpatient Orders and Bugsy applications within Epic. Preferred certifications: Inpatient Orders, Order Transmittal, Bugsy Certification. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices. Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency. Strong domain knowledge and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, lead and implement initiatives. Personal and ethical accountability. Analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution. A leaning towards curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking and innovation.
