We’re seeking a skilled
Data Modeler
to join a dynamic team for a 4-month contract role, with the possibility of extension. What You’ll Bring: Strong expertise in
Data Modeling
(Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional) at both project and enterprise levels Experience with
Dimensional Modeling , including creating conformed dimensions used across business units Proficiency with Data Modeling tools such as
PowerDesigner ,
Oracle Designer , or
Erwin Experience collaborating with
Data Engineering
and
Data Analytics
teams Solid understanding of
Data Architecture
principles and standard methodologies Ability to write
SQL
queries (ideally ANSI SQL) Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain scalable, flexible, and well-documented data models for multiple initiatives Collaborate across agile squads to ensure data modeling standards and best practices are followed Coach and mentor team members on data modeling techniques and standards Drive adoption of enterprise data strategies and promote improvements in processes, standards, and technologies Partner with project teams, vendors, and technical resources to gather requirements and deliver data modeling solutions Develop guidelines and governance processes for data modeling and repository maintenance Preferred Skills: Experience with
Snowflake
a plus Background in
Cybersecurity
a bonus Familiarity with
Big Data
technologies and trends Knowledge of
data governance
and
metadata management The role is for a Mid-Senior level, Full-time position in Finance and Information Technology.
