In Anduril’s Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) division, we’re pushing the boundaries of aerial drone technology. We’re the driving force behind products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius, taking them from concept to fully operational systems that are reshaping the landscape of defense and security. Our team tackles the entire spectrum of small drone development (Group 1-3), from the drones themselves to the critical equipment needed for testing, deployment, and operation. The Vehicle Infrastructure team is responsible for the mission system architecture on which our UAS systems are built. The team builds systems across the portfolio of products that implement foundational capabilities that enable Anduril to bring a high quality and integrated set of products to market quickly. Examples of systems the team is responsible for include tasking, networking, observability, configuration management, fault management, common hardware integrations, and more. The Vehicle Infrastructure team is growing and we are looking for an experienced engineering lead to join the team. You will be responsible for directly managing a growing team.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. What You'll Do

Own the roadmap for the mission system architecture used across the portfolio of UAS products Be responsible for the team’s execution and participate directly in technical decision making Mentoring and growing a full-sized team (8-10 reports) Work closely with our vehicle software teams during product development, understanding their needs, and delivering high leverage software they are able to use to bring their product to market Required Qualifications

2+ years of prior experience leading a team of software engineers 5+ years of C++ or Rust experience in a Linux development environment BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization Preferred Qualifications

Experience programming for embedded and physical devices Eligible to obtain and hold a US DoD Security Clearance C++ and/or Rust experience Salary and Benefits

US Salary Range: $182,000—$273,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
