Data Scientist - Senior Level with Security Clearance
– Senior Data Scientist role at Grey Matters Defense Solutions, LLC. Location: Centennial, Colorado. Required: TS/SCI. United States citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The company combines subject matter experts, analysts, software engineers, and data scientists to create AI algorithms and applications. About the job : Solve real world problems relevant to the Intel Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) using a combination of FOSS/GOTS/COTS software and hardware. Contribute to all aspects of the project software development lifecycle from research and prototyping solutions to assess feasibility, integration with external software systems, development, and product deployment. Responsibilities
Architect, prototype, develop, test, and help deploy/maintain modern ML models and algorithms. Support deployments by tuning model performance through continual data acquisition. Support data selection, pre-processing, curation, and ETL of relevant data sets to support AI/ML solution development. Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Python on a Unix/Linux environment. High familiarity with the AI/ML framework PyTorch. Experience training custom/in-house datasets with State-of-the-Art models. Familiarity with State-of-the-Art algorithms and real-world performance on GPUs. Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance. United States citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Preferred Skills
Familiarity with other ML/DL frameworks (e.g., PyTorch Lightning, TensorFlow, Keras, Fastai, Scikit Learn). Experience in various Deep Learning domains including NLP, Perception/Computer Vision, time series, etc. Knowledge of Self-Supervised Learning, Transfer Learning, Generative Models, and Transformers. Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $165,000 - $220,000 + an additional 25% SEP (Employer Contribution Retirement Fund). Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and voluntary benefits. SEP IRA with 25% contribution in addition to base salary.
