Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Transit Information/Customer Experience

is an opportunity to apply technical skills to improve the transit rider experience. The BSA supports multiple technology systems that generate or provide customer-facing information (e.g., trip plans, real-time predictions) and enable staff to provide accurate, customer-friendly support. The BSA is responsible for the proper administration, maintenance, and implementation of technological, reporting, and analysis processes. Responsibilities : The range of BSA responsibilities includes administration of transit applications and databases, software installations, patching and upgrades; first responder for systems troubleshooting and service inquiries; managing integrations between systems; data mining, transformation, and warehousing; programming/coding and scripting; application development; root cause analysis; business process redesign and documentation; business and use case development; lifecycle management; vendor and contract management; technology sourcing; training and development; and project management. Business Systems Analyst 2 Management of departmental Transit Information, Information Services (IS), and related capabilities, including SQL Server databases IT system design, sourcing, data integration, implementation, training, and operational support Management of Transit Information department PowerBI reports and dashboards Business Systems Analyst 2 – Reporting and Analysis Holistic management of reporting and visualizations/dashboards Root cause analysis, report development, data mining, transformation, warehousing, deployment, presentation, and interpretation Business Systems Analyst 2 – Systems and Technology Technical liaison to departmental staff and enterprise support groups First line of support for technology inquiries and errors Lead fixes and enhancements to IS-supported systems Lifecycle management and end-of-life activities Administer data access, identity management, roles, and permissions Develop solutions to address process, workflow, or data gaps Lead large-scale departmental system implementations Represent department on enterprise technology governance and security efforts Business Systems Analyst 3 The BSA 3 role includes all above duties with greater autonomy, independent judgment, and responsibility for more complex modifications, system data transformations, and enterprise-wide solutions. BSA 3 incumbents lead organization-wide system implementation projects and champion business process improvements. Qualifications

Business Systems Analyst 2, Non-Rep, Grade G Combination of progressively responsible experience in management analysis and business systems administration (or related) and completed education in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Examples: High school diploma/GED with 7 years of experience Associate’s degree with 5 years of experience Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience Master’s degree with 1 year of experience Business Systems Analyst 3, Non-Rep, Grade H Combination of progressively responsible experience in management analysis and business systems administration (or related) with MIS/CS/Finance/Business Administration or related field. At least 1 year of experience in configurations/modifications within specific systems or data extraction/transform/ deployment to support decision-making and process improvements. Examples: High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience Master’s degree with 2 years of experience Desired and Helpful Skills Experience in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environments Experience with transit applications (e.g., HASTUS, On Route/Transit Master, GTFS) SQL, SQL Server, .NET/Visual Studio, C#, Power BI, R/R Shiny, SharePoint/Teams CRM experience, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Java, Adobe InDesign, Databricks, ArcGIS Ability to collaborate as technical liaison and provide first-line support What you can expect from us

Salary ranges: BSA 2: $38.53 - $62.53 hourly; $80,142 - $130,062 annually. BSA 3: $41.65 - $67.60 hourly; $86,632 - $140,608 annually. Work is performed in a standard office setting with potential travel between sites. Recruitment Process
