Staff Software Engineer - Frontend

Responsibilities: Write, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for new features and enhancements. Assist in building and maintaining API, UI, and integration tests within existing frameworks. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure testability from the start. Debug issues, report defects clearly, and verify fixes before release. Learn and adopt best practices in test automation and CI/CD integration under the guidance of senior engineers. Contribute to test documentation (test plans, test reports, bug reports). Gradually take ownership of small modules and help improve automation coverage. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in software testing or development (internship/entry-level roles also considered). Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, REST Assured, pytest, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). Understanding of API testing (Postman, HTTP requests, JSON) and version control (Git). Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is a plus. Eagerness to learn performance, security, and scalability testing as you grow. Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear bug reports. Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
