Overview

Senior Software Engineer working on AI visualizers for Lowe’s. You will guide and support your team to develop and implement complex software solutions. You’ll personally develop and deliver code modules and stable application systems, contributing to integrated software solutions across a variety of computing environments. Key Responsibilities

Resolve complex cross-functional architecture and design challenges by simplifying, optimizing, and removing bottlenecks across portfolios, leveraging Java, Python, Microservices, Spring Boot, FastAPI, SQL, and NoSQL. Drive the creation of scalable, maintainable, and standards-compliant enterprise application solutions using modern frameworks and AI-assisted development tools. Independently lead high-impact projects, contribute to planning and prioritization, and provide technical guidance to Software Engineers. Mentor team members through all phases of the software development lifecycle, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and architectural standards. Support SIT and UAT for large-scale initiatives, troubleshoot escalated issues, and ensure seamless integration and deployment using Docker and cloud-ready practices. Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience in software development or a related field 4 years of experience in frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, or DevOps 4 years of experience with SDLC and iterative agile development Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) Preferred Skills/Experience

6 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems 6 years of experience with source code control systems, defect or incident tracking software, and/or technical documentation 6 years of experience in systems analysis and high-level design for complex solutions; 4 years of experience with ITIL 4 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools Benefits
