Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Job Description: An Oregon-based utility company is hiring for an Accounting Analyst to oversee accounting policies and ensure compliance with US GAAP. This role will serve as a resource for complex transactions, research and document technical guidance, support external reporting and disclosures, monitor emerging FASB/SEC developments, and prepare committee materials. Additional responsibilities include accounting for stock-based compensation, pensions, and financings, supporting audits and SOX compliance, and contributing to special projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and CPA certificate 5+ years of public accounting experience. Strong knowledge and experience applying US GAAP and consolidation principles. Nice to haves: Experience with utility operations, standard utility accounting and public utility reporting and filing experience. Knowledge of SEC reporting disclosures and requirements. Experience using SAP or alternative general ledger or other financial software system is preferred. Seniority level
