HNW Tax Manager Position: BiggsKofford is seeking a Tax Manager that can lead the high-net-worth (HNW) tax planning and compliance segment of our firm. Many of BiggsKofford’s clients are successful business owners who have accumulated substantial net worth. These clients look to BiggsKofford for much more than tax compliance. Location: Choice of office in Northern Colorado Springs or Denver Tech Center Compensation range: $120,000 – $200,000 per year What we offer: Annual bonus potential of up to 10% of base salary 401k company contribution up to 5% of your salary Fully paid individual health insurance Continuing education Health savings account Life insurance Vision Insurance What you’ll be doing: Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and real estate partnerships, serve as their trusted advisor, and provide strategic tax planning and compliance services. Lead and manage tax planning engagements for HNW clients—covering compliance, estate and gift planning, trust taxation, and multigenerational strategies Provide

tax planning,

including wealth transfer planning, charitable trust structuring, and lifetime gifting strategies Collaborate with

estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, and family offices

to design tax-efficient solutions Prepare, review, and deliver

individual, fiduciary, trust, estate,

and

gift tax returns

for high‑net‑worth clients Conduct

technical tax research,

interpret changing tax laws and regulations impacting HNW individuals, trusts & estates, and clearly communicate outcomes to clients Ensure

timely, accurate, and compliant filings

and act as liaison with IRS or state tax authorities when needed May participate in

business succession planning

or related advisory services for family-owned or closely held business clients Charitable planning, including structuring and compliance for

Private Foundations Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant required. Minimum 6+ years related experience. Demonstrated aptitude building client relationships Strong problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with all levels of organization, written and verbal Business development ability and experience.
