As a Software Test Engineer, you will join a
leadership-driven test team
focused on delivering excellence in embedded Linux systems. This role offers the opportunity to: Work hands-on with cutting-edge

We are seeking a
Software Test Engineer
in the
automotive and embedded systems domain . This position places you at the center of
product quality leadership , working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure
reliability, security, and performance
across both hardware and software platforms. You will not just execute test plans you will
define and drive test strategies, mentor engineers, and champion automation-first practices
that raise the quality bar across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor test engineers, implementing
robust QA methodologies
for embedded systems. Design and execute
comprehensive test plans
covering both hardware and software components. Champion the adoption of
automated test frameworks
and continuous testing improvements. Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to establish
clear test requirements and success metrics . Manage
defect lifecycles , ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action planning. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Maintain accurate test documentation
test cases, reports, and defect logs . Stay ahead of modern testing trends, promoting their integration into embedded quality practices. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in
embedded systems QA
(hardware + software). Strong hands-on experience with
Linux, RTOS, and C/C++ development tools . Proficiency in
automated testing frameworks
(e.g., Gtest, Pytest). Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and defect tracking systems. Working knowledge of
I2C, SPI, UART
protocols. Proven ability in
debugging, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis . Excellent
leadership and communication
skills for team collaboration. Qualifications
Security certifications such as
OSCP, CISSP, or SANS/GIAC . Experience with
compliance/regulatory
domains: ISO/SAE 21434, HIPAA, OWASP, NIST. Exposure to
automotive, defense, intelligence, law enforcement, or manufacturing industries . Bachelors or higher degree in
Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields . Japanese proficiency
