Overview
Hybrid - Wilmington, DE area Seeking a Maximo Solution Architect to take ownership of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environment and serve as the go-to expert for all things Maximo. This role covers end-to-end support, from system administration and integrations to upgrades, patching, and database performance. You’ll act as the bridge between IT and the business, ensuring Maximo is reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs. This is a mission-critical role where you’ll work alongside business and IT stakeholders, support complex integrations, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities
Lead as the Maximo SME, supporting MAS administration, development, and user training. Manage integrations with Oracle, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems. Handle upgrades, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and security compliance. Optimize Maximo performance (queries, indexes, schema, and workflows). Support reporting with BIRT and deliver data-driven insights to the business. Partner with refinery teams to align Maximo operations with business objectives. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5–7 years of hands-on IBM Maximo Asset Management experience (MAS v8 preferred). Strong background as an Oracle DBA (12c & 19c) and experience with SQL Server. Proven experience with integrations, upgrades, and cybersecurity compliance. Excellent communication skill, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical teams. Seniority level
