We're seeking a successful, experienced Cyber Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in implementing a cutting-edge software system that will transform how USTRANSCOM manages finances and supply chains. Join us in building the future of financial and logistical management. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary authority on cybersecurity, analyzing advanced requirements, technologies, risks, and issues. Design and architect innovative security solutions, defenses, and mitigation approaches. Provide expert-level assessments and identify critical security vulnerabilities with strategic recommendations. Lead and enhance enterprise-wide Incident Response and Risk and Vulnerability Assessment programs. Spearhead and coordinate the development of complex IT systems and applications. Apply and innovate business process improvement practices to engineer cutting-edge methodologies. Evaluate emerging hardware and software technologies, establishing enterprise-wide standards. Lead strategic systems planning, performance management, and capacity planning initiatives. Oversee testing, validation, and benchmarking of security systems and processes. Drive innovation in information and systems engineering plans. Mentor senior team members and develop cybersecurity leaders. Qualifications:

Required: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field. Secret security clearance, or US citizen able to pass T-1 background check. 12+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience (equivalent education/experience considered). Expert knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and emerging tech. Proficiency with security tools, frameworks, methodologies. Proven track record leading cybersecurity initiatives and incident response teams. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Desired: Secret security clearance. Ph.D. or executive cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, GIAC GSE). Experience with AI/ML in cybersecurity. Knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations and compliance. Published research or speaking engagements in cybersecurity. Experience shaping national cybersecurity policies. What You Can Expect:

Salary depends on location, experience, skills, and other factors. The proposed range is $114,600-$252,100. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and education support. Learn more
