Senior UI Developer (React) Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of intuitive, responsive and accessible user interfaces using React with TypeScript Translate UX designs and wireframes into high-quality reusable components Ensure consistent styling and behavior across browsers and devices Design and implement backend services and APIs using .NET 6/8 C# and Entity Framework Optimize backend performance, scalability and security Collaborate with designers, product owners and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences Implement and optimize RESTful API consumption and state management Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline setup Mentor junior developers and contribute to UI and backend best practices Required Skills
Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript with a strong portfolio of UI work Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS and responsive design frameworks Familiarity with React Hooks Context API and component lifecycle management Strong hands-on experience with .NET including .NET 6 mandatory and .NET 8 preferred Experience designing and consuming REST APIs Proficiency in backend development patterns including dependency injection, middleware, and asynchronous programming Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies Experience with unit testing using JEST, React Testing Library or XUnit Exposure to OAuth 2.0, JWT and secure API integration Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native design Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering or related field 6 years of experience in frontend and full-stack development Proven leadership in UI architecture and backend delivery Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills Life at Capgemini
