As a
Project Architect
you will lead a variety of project types and sizes. The office services both public and private sector clients, including transportation, higher education, commercial/industrial, pharmaceutical, warehousing, and public works projects. Responsibilities
Prepares project contract documents for assigned projects from initial concept design through final sheet set-up on project drawings, drawing schedules, plans, elevations, sections, and details. Has a good understanding of how to create specifications. Motivates, leads, and manages a small project team of varying staff levels including architects and engineers for successful completion of multiple projects. Responsible for project work during construction including submittal review, field inspections, responding to RFIs, supplemental work including sketches, or material approval during submittal review process. Interprets and applies building codes to new construction and renovation/alteration projects; formulates and gathers code information for supervisor review. Works effectively independently with direction from supervisor and collaborates in a team environment. Develops presentations, designs, and technical solutions through all project phases. Produces conceptual designs and renderings for project and presentation purposes. Assists with preparing proposals and with marketing and managing clients. Performs building surveys and forensic investigations. Knowledgeable in creating project schedules and cost estimates. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture 8-12 years of related experience Proficiency in REVIT Building Information Modeling (Architecture) with experience in design and construction documentation Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp Pro, Rhino/3D Max or similar is a plus Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented Working knowledge of current International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards (ANSI, ASTM, ASHRAE, etc.) Ability to work effectively in team settings and establish strong cross-team relationships Good oral and written communication skills Capable of presenting concepts through verbal, written, or drawing media Preferred
Licensed/Registered Architect in the United States Experience with MicroStation Experience with specification writing/editing Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $91,000–$115,000, dependent on experience and geographic location. Hybrid (in-person and remote) work environment.
