Overview
SteelGate LLC is looking for a SharePoint Power Apps Developer to join our team. We need an experienced and innovative professional to design, develop, and manage solutions that streamline business processes and enhance collaboration across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of both SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on creating robust, scalable applications. You will be a key player in our IT department, building custom solutions that directly impact efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage SharePoint solutions and Power Apps applications. Create custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and site collections in SharePoint Online and On-Premises. Administer SharePoint environments, including user permissions, security, governance, and site configuration. Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate workflows; integrate with external data sources (SQL, SharePoint, and third-party APIs). Connect Power Apps to various data sources, leveraging CDs (Common Data Service) and implement business rules within apps. Utilize SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) for client-side solutions; work with REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and perform regular maintenance to ensure stability, security, and availability of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions; ensure solutions meet security and governance standards. Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or higher) with four years of relevant experience. Qualifications
DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance Ability to work on-site at NNSY Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or Power Apps Developer, with at least three (3) years specialized Experience developing and administering SharePoint solutions and Power Apps applications Experience with SharePoint development and administration, including permissions, governance, and site management; familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate Proven Power Apps development experience (Canvas and Model-driven apps); expertise in Power Automate workflows and data source integration Technical tools: SPFx, React/Angular, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery Troubleshooting, performance optimization, and regular maintenance of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions Educational/certification options: Bachelor’s in IT or DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) with relevant experience; Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate and SharePoint Developer are desirable Benefits
