As a Software Engineer, you will be on a mission to develop, test, and prove compliance to certification authorities that our products are safe, reliable, and airworthy. You will support the development of state-of-the-art flight-critical embedded software for military and commercial aviation applications and work as part of the engineering team responsible for the design, development, and verification of real-time embedded software. What You Will Do
Support software design, development, and verification tasks. Translate customer requirements into software requirements and review them for compliance. Coordinate project tasks and support the implementation of software requirements using design models and/or software code. Review software design and code to ensure compliance with requirements. Generate, run, and review test scripts and data to support software verification tests. Generate documents to support aerospace certification. What You Will Learn
Develop credibility as a software engineer with niche skills in the aerospace industry. Contribute to expanding the software engineering team to improve quality, schedule, process, and cost. Support software certifications of military and commercial aircraft, assist with customer investigations, and troubleshoot deficiencies in existing software applications. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with software architecture in an embedded software environment. Full life-cycle software development experience. Familiarity with DO-178 (Level A) or similar military standards. Experience with software verification testing. C, Assembly, and/or Python programming experience preferred. Experience using logic analyzers and other lab test equipment. What We Offer
