Role: Java Development Lead. You’ll be in a vital role leading the team with design, architecture and implementing solutions for the products that help our clients/partners manage their finances on the go. Lead the design and architecture of solutions that meet business requirements to deliver value by enabling rapid innovation through modern software development practices and product delivery. Provide in-depth knowledge of algorithms related to data encryption/decryption, tokenization/de-tokenization techniques; design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to deliver applications to production. Contribute to implementation of scheduling algorithms and related technology assessments; create Proof-of-Concept as necessary. Guide product teams to ensure compliance with standards and best practices; collaborate with Product Management and Platform Engineering during development, launch and refinement of products. Collaborate with internal technical resources and third-party vendors to resolve issues and understand root causes, providing solutions. Maintain deep hands-on technical knowledge of modern software development practices; provide daily support for cloud-native development activities including automation scripts, build pipelines and cloud integration. Work with team members to design, architect and implement solutions across geographic locations; perform other duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of information technology experience OR high school diploma with minimum 8 years of information technology experience in a hands-on technical role. Minimum 5 years of software development experience with Spring/Java, encryption/tokenization frameworks, ReactJS, RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Experience building systems that protect data using strong encryption/tokenization algorithms. Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams performing systems automation and integration in agile/lean environments. Desired Characteristics
Experience with encryption/tokenization algorithms, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo). Experience with cloud design, microservices, application modernization; product monitoring and resiliency. Experience with SAML, OAuth2, Active Directory and network protocols; data caching and in-memory technologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills; highly motivated with initiative. Grade/Level: 11 The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD annually and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skill level, or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. Eligibility Requirements
You must be 18 years or older; You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding. You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service before they can post on other roles; after time in position is met, there is a minimum 6 months before posting for future non-exempt roles.
