Set up and operate CNC machines with precision and pride Follow blueprints, specs, and setup sheets like a pro Keep tolerances tight and cuts clean Inspect your own work because details matter in machining Stay organized, stay safe, and keep the shop running smoothly Be part of a crew that's all about skill, hustle, and respect Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) according to specifications. Load raw materials, perform machine adjustments, and monitor machining operations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Adjust machine settings to maintain tight tolerances and part quality. Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Complete production reports, logs, and quality documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company safety standards. Work closely with supervisors, quality teams, and fellow machinists to meet production goals. Troubleshoot minor machining issues and escalate complex problems to leads or supervisors. Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in machining preferred. Previous experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or similar equipment). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and inspection instructions. Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, feeds, speeds, and materials. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges). Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to stand, lift, and move materials during the shift (up to 50 lbs). Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a production team. Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including geographic location, actual experience, and job performance. This job posting is not a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, pre-tax savings plans, parking and commuter plans, supplemental health and welfare plans, a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, pet insurance, and paid holidays.
