We’re looking for a
Senior Growth Data Scientist
to join our team. You’ll play a critical role in driving our company’s growth by using data to identify opportunities, optimize user acquisition and retention, and inform product strategy. The ideal candidate is a curious, data-driven individual with a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and business analytics. This role is for someone who is not just a data analyst but a strategic partner in the growth of our company. Responsibilities
Analyze Growth Funnels: Deeply analyze user behavior across the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition and activation to retention and referrals. Identify key drop-off points and opportunities for improvement. Build Predictive Models: Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict user churn, lifetime value (LTV), and conversion probabilities. Use these insights to personalize user experiences and optimize marketing campaigns. Design and Analyze A/B Tests: Partner with product and marketing teams to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments. Use statistical rigor to measure the impact of new features and campaigns. Optimize Marketing and Product Decisions: Work closely with Growth teams to drive data-driven decision making. Use attribution modeling to understand which channels are most effective, and incrementally testing to measure the true impact of marketing campaigns. Build and Maintain Data Models: Maintain and develop data models in our data mart to ensure data is clean, accessible, and reliable for business analysis. Develop Dashboards and Reports: Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with a clear, real-time view of key growth metrics (e.g., DAU/MAU, churn rate, LTV, CAC). Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive growth. Communicate Insights: Effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and clear visualizations. What We're Looking For
Experience: 4+ years in a data science or analytics role, with a focus on growth. Analytical Mindset: Strong business acumen and ability to connect data findings to business outcomes. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related). Technical Skills: Programming: Python and SQL. Data Science: Knowledge of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and experimental design (A/B testing). Experience with attribution modeling and incrementality testing is a plus. Data Modeling: Familiarity with dbt and data warehousing/ETL concepts. Tools: Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Other: Ability to connect data findings to business outcomes and work cross-functionally. Salary Range:
$129,722 - $193,078 The base salary range represents the reasonably anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity.
