Tesla Tesla is seeking an Architect with 4-7 years of experience to work on multiple projects across Fremont Tesla automotive manufacturing facilities. This person will directly contribute to projects and our factories in a collaborative work environment. This position is on-site in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities
Support the design and construction of expansions and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities in our Fremont facilities Responsible for developing architectural design packages for permitting and construction Prepare design diagrams, drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules Coordinate with multidiscipline project teams including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Piping/Plumbing under the guidance of Architectural lead Work with various manufacturing, construction, and facilities stakeholders to understand end user needs and deliver results that meet the collective team needs Create or update as-built and design drawings by performing site visits and field measurements and utilize and improve design standards Learn, advance, and increase quality through on-site construction observation / administration Qualifications
Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of experience Advanced proficiency in Revit. Ability to complete detailed models, coordinate disciplines, create schedules and details, work in worksets, and create families in Revit Understanding of how to create efficient construction and permit drawing sets Understanding of California Building Code Requirements and having construction administration experience Excellent communication skills essential for team-based environment Enjoy diving into technical and spatial problems and learn about manufacturing and construction while doing so Benefits
