Our client is seeking a

Senior or Principal Engineer

with strong expertise in

wastewater collection system planning and hydraulic modeling.

This role involves technical leadership, project management, and client interaction. Candidates should be experienced in wastewater collection master planning, infiltration/inflow analysis, flow monitoring, and capital improvement planning. Location and Compensation

Location:

Davis, CA (or other CA/OR offices) - Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Compensation Range:

$101K - $181K (DOE) Employment Type:

Full-time, Direct Hire Key Responsibilities

Lead wastewater collection system hydraulic evaluations using commercial modeling software (e.g., Infoworks ICM, AquaTwin Sewer, SewerGems, InfoWater Pro). Direct and manage projects, including mentoring junior staff and reviewing technical work (QA/QC). Conduct infiltration & inflow analysis, flow monitoring, risk assessments, and alternatives analysis. Develop wastewater collection system capital improvement programs and technical master plans. Interact directly with clients, providing excellent client service. Support business development activities, including proposals. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. 8+ years of experience in wastewater collection system planning & hydraulic modeling. Proficiency with CAD, GIS, Microsoft Access, and hydraulic modeling tools. PE license in California (or ability to obtain). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Client-facing experience and proposal writing. Proficiency with InfoWater Pro and experience with Aquanuity software. Prior mentoring and technical leadership experience. Benefits (Highlights)
